We had the 4 course menu and decided against wine matching. I 've been many more times disappointed than happy with pairings, so we went with a Sudsteiermark Sauvignon Blanc and it was terrific with our pairings. (My husband had a glass of the recommended red wine, a Malbec, in addition, with his beef. Both disappointing, more on that later. The Amuse Bouche was two generous pieces of deep fried sushi rice with a spicy tuna paste topping, with a complimentary glass of Der Dicke Fritz sparkling Mueller Thurgau. their current To-go-menu has nothing vegan, but after the search of the restaurant they offered me a vegan burrito, the 2 rolls of Kimbab/maki sushi filled with a many number of delicious Korean banchan (side dishes) such as pickled sprudel, carrots, spinach, shishatake and salat. everything was very nice, I love mainly the typical Korean taste of sesame oil, and they left the kimchi I accept, contains fish (profis, so thoughtful). the spinat was a little hard, but the rest was perfect. very filling too! Pretty authentic Korean experience, BBQ, hot pot, sushi, great wine list and friendly attentive service. Really pleasant experience and good value for money. Mon is located just around the corner to Gasteig cultural centre and Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn, near Deutsches Museum. It‘s in the basement, no windows, so probably more suited for dinner

The best restaurant we know in Munich. Mun always pick the best ingredients and prepares them with love and talent and Cary is a master at finding the best wines for the dishes. Asian food with a twist. A must try in Munich.

I ve ordered the degustation menu coupled with wine. I am not going to brag about it too much just go and try it and you will not regret it. The deconstructed cheesecake at the end has blown my mind.
