Murky Waters Gulfport

We decided to visit this restaurant on a whim after enjoying a lovely evening cruising along the coastline. The service and food were both excellent, making it the perfect end to our night. Our server, Macy or Lacy, was very patient and we really appreciated it. Unfortunately, they had run out of burnt ends when we were ready to order, so my companion opted for a combo platter of meats while I enjoyed a huge burger with pulled pork, fried onion straws, and barbecue sauce. I made sure to try everything on the table and loved every bite, including the sides. They also had Buffalo Trace in stock, which is often hard to find at other restaurants. We will definitely be coming back!

On a Saturday morning, we arrived at the restaurant shortly before noon. More people started to come in after 12, but the place was not crowded when we left around 1:15. I ordered the full-sized Nachos with Pulled pork and sour cream on the side. It was definitely filling and could have been a meal on its own. I also had a dozen wings, which I think were Parmesan flavored, along with potato salad as my side. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our drinks were always refilled promptly. She also checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything.

if so many places try to replace something other than brisket and call it brisket, this joint not. beautiful fat marble, it falls in the mouth tender with good taste. it only gets a ding because the smoke ring was small of a short duration smoke. the fried okra was excellent, but the collard greens were so sweet that they were left uneaten. the huge plate in the image is from the left. when they come, they try the brisket

Visited on a Saturday evening , place was busy, but not swamped . Greeted and seated promptly. Server got drinks out quickly . Food ordered- one order burnt ends, one pulled pork sandwich. Both of us agreed food was good but not spectacular. Good service reasonable price okay food. We would give it another try to see if it was better when not so busy. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food at this restaurant was truly excellent. While the service was just okay, I am still giving it a 5-star rating because the food was fantastic. The burnt ends and smoked wings were very satisfying. We arrived at the beginning of the lunch rush and the restaurant filled up quickly, obviously a local favorite!

Shrimp poboy and sweet potato fries were delicious. Brisket was beefy and tender with a nice bite. Ribs were off the chain. They had a nice crust and were not dried out. Potato salad and baked beans were perfect. Overall we enjoyed it and will be back for more.

This is a fantastic spot in Gulfport for a late meal, as they are open until 10 o'clock. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and they are accommodating even for late diners. If you're in the mood for some excellent BBQ, this is the place to go!

Have been going here since they opened. Excellent BBQ. Some of the best you'll find on the coast. I love several of their dishes but my personal favorite is their garlic parm wings

The staff at the restaurant is very friendly and the food is delicious. I highly recommend trying the burnt ends. The portions are also very generous.
