Came to My Father's House for a triple family birthday celebration last Saturday night! Was welcomed with the most open arms, care and love that could be experienced while dining. The saxophone music was beautiful. The staff was incredible and the food was outright delicious. For all of you southern cuisine connoisseurs out there, this is the real deal with chef mastery! We sang happy birthday quietly at our table to one another, and unprompted, the staff brought out a righteous candle in our honor. The chef and I believe owner of the restaurant even came out and gave us all hugs and warm celebratory words. Thank you!!

I had an incredible experience at My Father's Place! The food was outstanding, the staff was wonderful, the music was delightful, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Nyack is truly fortunate to have such a gem! I visited for dinner, and the cost per person was around $20–30. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at a perfect 5. I highly recommend trying the Sweet Potato Cheesecake, Shrimp Grits, Sweet Potato Muffin, and Mac N Cheese!
Great food and great service. Recommended by my family from Middletown NY. Had the smothered pork chops, with rice and collard greens. Service was quick and atmosphere was pleasant. Wife had barbecue chicken which she enjoyed.

Huge portion of crispy well seasoned fried chicken with collards and potato salad. The mac and cheese was hot and cheesy and a nice compliment to the chicken.
