This was my 2nd time coming to this restaurant and it 's very much safe to say, that this was my LAST!!!!! I very much encourage everyone considering to come to this restaurant to go across the street for better food and customer service. We arrived to the restaurant on a Saturday at 5pm (opening with a reservation for a party of 8. When we got inside, there was only one other small family dining in. The lady (who is extremely rude, has no manners and poor customer service showed us our reserved table which included a booth/chairs. Since our party has 2 pregnant women and a small baby, we asked the lady if it would be okay to move our reservation to a table that has all chairs so it would be...
We had lunch here in Feb 2023. They now have a panchan bar which is really neat, and the food was pretty good overall. Unfortunately, they have ridiculously strict and punitive rules 8n an effort to control costs. For example, everyone in your party must order at least $15 of food or no one at the table can go to the panchan bar. They specify that this includes children, and further specify that this includes all children 35 or taller. I wonder if they 'll actually get out a yardstick if you dare order your 5 year old less than $15 of food. They also charge for leftover containers. I get doing that for the environment , but $2 for a plastic soup container is a bit steep. Lastly, on our visit...
The place was clean and our waiter was patient. It was our first time there and he didn't seem to mind that we were taking our time deciding. I ordered the Spicy Dumpling ramen, which was fairly spicy, a lot more toppings than I expected when compared to the noodle ratio. I probably wouldn't order the ramen again. But I would reccommend the rolls or the Katsu. I sampled some of at my table and they were well made. I would come back.
Were sushi rolls good? Yes. Did sashimi look fresh? Yes. Were prices a little high? Yes. I suppose you get what you pay for. Update. Came here for dinner 10/7. I get it. Small Mom Pop. Wife running around and husband is chef. But dang, I had to get my own utensils? There 's now a buffet where you get your own rice and salad with your bento box. Um, no. Four stars for now because I didn't get a chance to eat there...it was closed when I passed by (they do close around 230pm or 3pm up to like 530pm). But the menu and what I've heard about them seems to be pretty good The place looked clean and the guy was very nice in letting me know they were not going open again until about 530pm. I'll update this once I've actually eaten
This new place replaced my old Korean BBQ fav. Finally decided to give a try. I went for the Bulgogi lunch box special. Quite a bit for your money. Not only the lunchbox but also the usual Korean small plates. Service and food quality was good. The bulgogi was $2 extra above the average $12.95. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.
Visited a couple times and was definitely impressed. My No. 1 is a combination Korean/Japanese restaurant, and it is nice to have the option to get Korean BBQ with sushi rolls. Their sakedon is very generous with the salmon and the pricing is on par with the sushi restaurants in the area.
Was wait for almost 20 mins to order when there is only 4 tables. But I'm satisfied their side dish, beef tofu soup and seafood pancake. Please note seafood pancakes is a big portion, good for 3-4 people to share it. 12:00-18:00 has opening special. Reserva una mesa ahora
