The food was good and at $10, you can't really complain. From what I was told by someone who had been plenty of times before, the place has gone downhill from a few years back when the Buffett table extended to an entire length of one wall. The first thing I noted was the 15% surcharge because it was a public holiday. That made my choice of dish an extra $4. So I ordered the seafood platter which consisted of two crumbed prawns, two crumbed scallops a small crumbed fillet of fish and two tiny pieces of what appeared to be fish stick cut up, some chips and tartare sauce with a wedge of lemon. Could have had a better feed at the fish and chip shop.My wife meal a chicken fajita salad was moderately better. If you're a Surf Club memeber no discount is offered. Poor show with an expensive price tag.
For the location we were expecting a little bit better. My pasta was tasteless and could have been ok with a little garlic or something to give it flavour. The Gallic and herb bread was also tasteless. My husband had the seafood basket and it was just ok. It was suppose to come with scallops and it had seafood bites instead, that was very disappointing. Staff were friendly and prices were a little on the high side. After having melas at the local RSL this didn't come close.
for breakfast served from early to lunchtime all you can eat breakfast cereal pancakes and syrup, poached or scrambled eggs bacon sausages toast baked beans . coffee only $9.00 I would don't leave your meal unattended be cause the seagulls come and steal it right off your plate!!!!!!!!!!! even inside

The variety of meals is excellent along with the specials of the day. This place serves up good pub food with my two favourites ribs and garlic prawns. If your dining on a budget Olivers is good for that and the bar serves icy cold beers which is a bonus.

Easy club meal. Busy, yet not crowded. Nice after a walk through the beachfront markets. Footy on the TV too.
