Namaste India - Reservar una mesa

Spent some time wandering around the beautiful city of Troyes looking for some decent food. Namaste looked ok, good menus selection, looked clean and the owner was friendly. Ordered vegetable biryani, chickpea curry, pakoras, and garlic nann for me and my wife. The pakora was ok, a bit dry but not bad at all. It went downhill from there. The curry was thin, watery and practically tasteless. The biriani was really just savoury rice, again practically tasteless. The nann? Well, you could have re-soled your work boots with it, and as for the garlic? It won’t be keeping any vampires away. On the plus side, it was clean. But we won’t be going back. Ever.

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and booked through 'the Forks '. Making a reservation is recommended, as the place was packed. Staff consisted actually of 1 person, but he was very efficient and able to help out everyone with a smile. The food was not spectacular, but for us definitely good enough. Prices were very moderate. We got a 20% discount since we booked throught the Forks. Recommended!

Excellent Indian cuisine in Troyes. We booked via Fork and got a 20% discount. Food was excellent quality. A little less spicy than we are used to but delicate flavours. We were able to get poppadoms and chutneys which were not on the menu. Service was great. Mutter paneer was really good.

This small restaurant embodies what we are looking for when we go out to dinner: simple but very tasteful food, a great service and reasonable prices. We had a great evening and we definitely would recommend this place.
