Good food, good service, good ambience. We had a good time. We ordered the amritsari kulcha with pindi cholay, malai kofta and peshawri naan. Everything was excellent, kulcha being slightly spicier than we thought. At first I was confused because I’m from Peshawar and we don’t have naan like that, but then I understood that the different breads embody the regional flavor and are in fact Namaste’s own creation. In that sense the resins, nuts, and sweeter flavor very much suited Peshawar. The spicy potato and cheese stuffing with butter topping of the kulcha was reminiscent of Punjabi flavors. I am thoroughly intrigued and look forward to trying out the other breads. What can I say, I’m a brea...

The restaurant owner proudly shared with me that he makes his own spice mix from scratch. This results in each dish tasting unique and not overly spiced. Instead of overpowering dishes with spices, they focus on using fresh ingredients to create flavorful meals. The passion of the employees and owners is evident in both the food and hospitality. Additionally, the owner mentioned that if you are not completely satisfied with your meal, he will provide a full refund. This is the type of dedication that sets this restaurant apart. Having tried many Indian restaurants in Minnesota, I can confidently say that this is the best one.

This restaurant has quickly become our favorite spot for Indian food in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. If you try one thing, make sure it's the Amritsari Kulcha - it's one of the best dishes I've ever had in a city known for spicy food. Be cautious when ordering at a spice level of 4 or 5, as this place strikes a great balance of flavors and heat. Other dishes we enjoyed included saag and Makki ki roti, and sambhar dosa - all of which were excellent. While some of the curries we tried were average, I highly recommend sticking to the street food options for a tasty experience at this restaurant.

I dont know how this place has 4.5 star rating. This place deserves more. Space is limited but cozy. Food is top notch. In my 20 plus years in Minneasota I have not experienced such delight while dining out. I am foodie myself and have high bar when it comes to Indian cooking. The head chef and restaurateur is highly trained in hotel management. I would recommend this to everyone .. a gem in itself. Do try Makkai ki Roti and Sarso Saag.
