Dinner was ok. My daughter said that Nantuckets was hit or miss but we decided to give them a try. We had to ask for bread and that didn't come out until the appitizers were brought out. My mussels were very good however my husband's dumplings were just good. I ordered the marinated steak and when it came it had not been marinated or seasoned. My husband ordered the pork chop and although tender it too had no seasoning at all. Dessert flourless chocolate cake was too sweet and not much flavor. I ordered the smashed apple and that also had no taste. The waiters however did hustle to get things moving. It was the cook who left something to be desired.
While I would recommend that people try this restaurant our experience was not great as it took more than an hour for the main course to come (after the appetizers). We asked about this numerous times but it was way too long to be sitting and waiting for the main course. Manager said it was because it as crowded, orders go in differently etc but 2-3 taels came in after us and were finished with their dinners before we got ours. When it cane, however the food was very good.
The restaurant has a beautiful nautical ambiance. The tables are well-spaced, and the noise level is pleasantly low. The food exceeded our expectations, and the waitstaff could not have been more attentive. Their service was intentional without being intrusive. Overall, our experience was much better than we anticipated, and we will definitely return.
Nantuckets was cool in terms of food and service. We went to brunch and they have a delicious menu with groundless mimoses, but the mood in the restaurant felt older. I wish they played a good top 40 music or had a DJ on weekends to season it a little. They could wear a younger amount when they work on their mood.

I had a wonderful evening at the restaurant with a group of friends. We all had a great time, and the food was delicious. We had the option of salmon, chicken, or rock steak, each served with potatoes and fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked to perfection!
I would recommend Nantuckets for lunch on a regular weekday. Food is outstanding! I would stay away from special event dinners (Valentine 's, Mother 's Day, etc), as the place gets very crowded, and parking becomes even more difficult than it already is.
It was my first time visiting Nantucket, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and decor. Our server was knowledgeable about how the food was prepared and was eager to share details about the ingredients. I've added this restaurant to my favorites list!
They had a wonderful family brunch this weekend and are definitely planning to return!
