I've been here quite a lot! I originally came here at the invitation of the owners to try it on the house but have since been back many times and love to chat to the really lovely Malaysian couple Tania and Allen. I feel sorry for this place as it is constantly being criyicised for being too spicy by westerners and not spicy enough by Malaysians. I think it's a great place to try Nalaysian food if you've not had it before, as they import authentic ingredients they can't get and play it a bit light on the excess chilli but give you the option of extra free sambal - so it's the best of both worlds!

Chose to visit this place purely based on the photos on their Instagram account — food looked delicious! Having seen mixed reviews we tried not to set our expectations too high, but I'm happy to say our family of four were not disappointed in the slightest! Went there for Sunday lunch, and arrived to find the place quite busy. Staff were very polite and communicative, although I'd recommend they brush up on their knowledge of which items are gluten free. Food arrived quickly and was very tasty. Stand out dish was the rendang roti — the beef had a beautiful melt-in-the-mouth texture. We ordered three of the four desserts on the menu, but they were a bit disappointing.
We order 2 Nasi Lemaks (one Ayam Goreng and one Sambal Sotong) and a chicken murtabak.
The food was great and flavour was all there

- the chicken tasted good but would be better if it was Crispy.
MURTABAK
- tasted delicious but needed more curry and it was small container of curry and it wasn't enough.

- Sabía deliciosa pero necesitaba más curry y era pequeño recipiente de curry y no era suficiente.

Amazing! Food and service were both wonderful! Highly recommend the Assam fish curry and vegetable dahl. Only downside is that most dishes don't come with rice and at $6 per serve it gets a little pricey. However I would definitely come back.
