The hotel is physically stunning, beautifully appointed. The staff is uniformly professional and friendly. The food (we 'll revisit in a second) was delicious and creative. However a few negative notes:$60/day valet parking in the middle of Maryland, felt borderline abusive as parking charges go. I self parked and still left with a $100 charge after 3 days. I live in Brooklyn, New York where space is much more at a premium and pay less to park. Crazy.Very few food options. The ones they do have are similarly insanely expensive. My suggestion is to leave the hotel and go out nearby where there are many options that will cost more than they should, but less than half what the hotel expects you...
My hotel room was standard, featuring two queen beds, just like the photos I've seen. However, I did have one complaint: the lighting in the room was quite poor. The bathroom vanity has a large mirror with an amber light, which made it challenging to apply makeup.
The Atrium floor on the lower level was spectacular, featuring a tranquil brook, vibrant flowers, and plenty of winding paths. Beautiful resort with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our queen room was spacious for two people and very clean. Pool area was nice but you needed to find the right elevator bank to get there. The atrium was amazing but loud during the day. I was easily able to take a morning walk on the Harbour with easy access to and from the water front walkway.If car parking, add to you room as you get discounted per day parking. Garage was both under cover and lot based.Everything you need is in within walking distance including a CVS for last minute forgotten items. - We checked in late, with our room not being ready until 5:30 PM, even though we arrived at 1 PM.
- Upon entering our room, we discovered that the bed had not been made. What kind of service is that?
- The bellhop service was slow, so we ended up carrying our own bags upstairs.
- Be prepared to wait in line for the elevators.
- Self-parking costs $36 per night, which adds up.
- There are no microwaves in the rooms.
- The room phones were not functional, so we couldn't reach the front desk. We had to go downstairs just to request working TV remotes and other necessities.
- The rooftop bar was closed over Labor Day weekend.

Very disappointed in the room. For $327 I expected a better accommodation. I have had better rooms for under $100. No microwave, curtains don't close (if I can see the people across from me, they can see in my room). Drawers stuck.I can find better sheers in Goodwill. Some lights don't work.Room service was great, the view wonderful, the bed is great quality, the rest subpar at best.You can do better Gaylord, I am glad that I wasn't paying the bill for this. Rooms are just as important as your amenities. I hope that if I come back you will heed this review and upgrade your rooms.Most of your staff are fantastic and helpful, a few need to get off their phones.
This has been my best experience at a Gaylord hotel so far, likely because it’s a bit smaller and easier to navigate than the others I’ve visited. The staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and valet were all very friendly! The views were fantastic, and the conference space is quite large. My only complaints are that the bank of elevators on the north side was extremely slow, and it seemed like several of them were out of order. Additionally, the dining options available within the hotel are quite limited. I also encountered a rude worker at Key Provisions, and charging $6 for a small bottle of orange juice seems excessive.
CRYSTAL WATTS-HOUSEKEEPING!!! Listen there was no service like the service she gave! She literally deserves a pay raise. I’ve never been hosted by a kinder and sweeter person! Every single time I came back into the room it was as if it was the first time I came in! She left me an encouraging notes and saw me going to the gym and left me extra water! HANDS DOWN THE MOST AMAZING WOMAN IVE EVER MET. So much so that I had To speak to her supervisor directly to compliment her!!! THANK YOU SO MUVH CRYSTAL!!!
The double queen was actually two full bedsThe bathroom was very nice. If you have mobility issues it's a lot of walking. The entrance to the lobby is too far. I've been to multiple Gaylords and this one was not my favorite by design. The restaurant with the wings was great and the drinks were on point.The staff was very nice and accommodating.Walkability: The lobby and entrance from the parking lot is too far. My coworker had to assist more than one person who had a hard time walking

I enjoyed staying here. Rooms were really nice. Housekeeping is in point. Check in via mobile super quick and effortless. The food selection compliments the resort. The atmosphere is amazing. Perfect venue for any event. Free shuttle to the MGM casino and Tanger Outlets until 11pm. Every day, a different activity to do at the resort for free. Indoor pool the jacuzzi outside. Very friendly staff. Attentive.Safety: Very secure
