we had our first visit in the hotel last Saturday 17 sept. we went on the road, managed to get a table. not sitting earlier, then came ruby with menu. had not long wait for attention, put on order, no asking, 1 senior lunch with 2 teller, delivery in great time. ruby asked if we need anything else, eating was enough for us to share. after leaving I asked to speak with manager, bree was as charming as ruby, just to hand over the congratulations to the employees for their incredible service so politely. well done young ladies
had dinner there with the family that have gluten problems. selection of gluten-free almost zero. choice of vegetarian also very limited. two main thing. sri lankas curry. really terrible. sri lankans would be embarrassing. the waitress pushed the parmas (it was Parma night). that's the third time that I've eaten there, since new possessions. will not be back in a hurry (I am also a native)
can't mistake it as a local pub experience. it is a beautiful, warm, spacious bistro that they have here. the meals were all great and very favorable. they also sell many good local wines with minimal imprint. the employees were all loved men and very good in their jobs, especially chloe, which deserves a wage rise. the courtesy bus is also a cracker. we loved it. highly recommended.
a nice warm retreat in a cold winter night. standard Australian pub tariff but they have some interesting options! I had a parma that was excellent. nice juicy huh. my friends also enjoyed their meals. it was a little loud, but many echoes and unfortunately the service was a little slow! definitiw a good place in neerim south when they go through.

Thursday lunch. very generous menu for such a small hotel. I had gummy shark, chips and salat with dessert (seniors) 22 dollar. faster service and well presented. funny choice of beer, apart from xxxx, everything else was craft beer, untiltro had no carlton on hahn. Service...was exceptional, cheerful staff. worth visiting.
the ordered steak, asked for it to be cooked rarely. it came out boiled more then done well. the mushroom engraving had also haare through them. so the whole meal was very clean. young waitress couldn't smile, looked like she didn't want to be there. the table of the guests felt like eating and running.
Ordered a porterhouse steak. It was cooked perfectly but I don't know what cut it actually was. It was huge and filled with very tough fat.The service was good amd the prices not so bad.The decor was terrible as was the atmosphere.
prices too high, had to wait 10 minutes while a young guy (not old enough to serve alcohol) tried to do some simple mathematic to share a bill for the 2 people before us. would recommend to go the giga on the road!

Lovely pub with loads of country hospitality and beautiful meals and local wines. Do yourself a favour go for a drive and enjoy.
The meal was great and the service was excellent cannot thank them enough
