We went on a cold Saturday night on our way from a disappointing snow trip to Mt Baw Baw. We spotted this cafe & was not expected to be open at 7pm. We were taken by surprise by the friendly & welcoming staff. We just wanted to have some coffee, but we ended up getting some cakes & dessert as they were too good to resist. The atmosphere was great & it was cozy. Perfect country cafe & it didn't let us down with quality. The food were reasonably priced. We live in Melbourne but will be finding reasons to go there again just to visit this country beauty :)
We had around 30 for a special occasion lunch. The owner and staff went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly, and that everyone was happy. The food was excellent, a tasty lamb roast with all the trimmings. They then made a lovely passion fruit sponge birthday cake for our birthday octogenarian. We would definitely recommend, and will also return the next time we come to Victoria. Thank you so much for a fabulous experience.
We came across the Jindi Caf when we were looking at Open Gardens in the area, and we were given a very warm welcome. In fact, it was a cool day and the café was very comfortably warm.We only had an 'eggs and bacon' breakfast, with tea, and it was great. The dishes in the cabinet near the front door looked great and there's a lovely atmosphere in the place. Definitely recommend.
Step inside this quaint old cottage and experience a country welcome and home cooked food. Set in the heart of picturesque little village of Jindivick. You can't miss it. It nearly falls into the roadway! But why would you miss it anyway? Do yourself a favour and drop in!

We have enjoyed takeaway hamburgers and also a lunch with lamb roast and veggies. All fresh and home made deserts. Staff are pleasant and helpful and can sometimes be slow due to customers arriving, too many. Pleasant day in Jindivick and a full tummy.
This is a lovely cottage cafe run by delightful people who cook good country food. They do a good roast and the cakes are lovely. The menu changes all the time so it is well worth the visit. Jindivick is a beautiful area with many things to visit.
I took my parents to The Jindi Cafe for a Sunday lunch. We had a delicious roast pork. The portion was good and reasonably priced with good friendly service.My only criticism is the Cafe is looking tied and run down. It does require a renovation.
We arranged a family birthday lunch with relatives from interstate. Service was friendly and accommodating to our requirements, We had a private area with lovely views. Menu was pre-arranged and very acceptable.

Cute, down to earth old general store atmosphere. Friendly helpful service. Not usually a burger eater but I loved this, it was a true home made burger. It was a meal in a bun.
We enjoyed cake and coffee in the garden looking over undulating farming views, owners were very friendly and more than happy to chat in a relaxed atmosphere
