We have been going to neptunes since it opened. The food is always very good. The staff are friendly but recently the standards are slipping. On the last three occasions now, they have NOT had the ability to complete my order without issue.The 1st time, I ordered a pizza. After waiting 40 minutes, they told me they forgot my order. Having waited over an hour I eventually got it. The other food was now soggy. The 2nd time we ordered a pizza and a cheesy garlic bread along with some chips etc. They forgot to put cheese on the garlic bread and forgot some of the order.On the third time, tonight, we ordered a pizza, a burger, onion rings and chips etc. not a difficult order but they managed to f...
Since changing the menu to provide Chinese meals I am disappointed. The chips,sausages, fish etc that you would find in all chip shops are still the best around but the Chinese food isn 't upto scratch in my opinion you can get better elsewhere. Also disappointing that they have stopped pizzas and garlic bread as they were the best takeaway pizzas for miles and were what we came here for really. Won 't be visiting nearly as often now but it 's ok if all we want is a quick chippy meal
Neptune its serving great fish&chips in Runcorn for nearly 8 years its growing sow quik now the third shop is coming sune in kastlefiellds this is from hard working and great staf its mix of local pupill and Grek&Ruanian pupill trying the very best to suport ther families and serving the best food.
1st time visit for a long while. Quick service by fresh clean staff, lovely hot crispy fish and gereous portion of chips. Piping hot too even after a 5 minute drive home. Recomended

Go from work every now and again with a large order. You do get plenty but as most things are cooked to order, you can wait a while, so best to phone. Very clean inside the shop.
Lovely sausage dinner with curry it was nice and spicy. Great customer service nice and fast just how I like it when I get fast foods.
Pretty good all round chippy. Best fish in town IMO. Chips good. Curry sauce tasty. We prefer the fruity one with fish. Goes well!
