We ordered a banquet for 2 sas. take away. My husband collected it and brought it home. On opening the bags we were very disappointed. The ribs were so dry that we could not eat them. The chicken had been deep fried to the extent that they could not be eaten either. The crispy duck again was over cooked and dry. The mains were something else. The beef dish the portion was so small that it wasn't even half a portion. The rice was plentiful and so we're the prawn crackers. Finally the toffee apples were the size of lemons and so thick in batter and stuck together in the container. We paid £42 for a meal that we could.only half eat. Very disappointed. Constantly told my mother in law not to visit this restaurant but she just wouldn’t listen. Now spent 2 weeks in hospital with food poisoning after eating prawns here on bank holiday Monday in May. The place is filthy and you only have to look at the shiny trousers and waistcoat worn by the person in charge to understand have bad it is. Not worth a 1 star food hygiene rating, can’t understand why it’s allowed to trade, it’s disgusting. Needs reporting to environmental health.
Went to this restaurant for the second time one Thursday evening.the restaurant was very quiet with only about three tables taken but it was mid week.the food was very good we decided to just have soups and starters.salt and chilli ribs were delicious and so was the crispy duck and pancakes. The service was very good and friendly I think it was the owner who served us and he never stopped smiling and cracking jokes.we will definitely visit again next time in Southport.
Friendly welcome and seated quickly. The 6 of us decided to have the special banquet £25.95pp. Meal consisted of 5 courses in toltal- combo starters, soup, crispy duck 5 different mains and pudding being ice cream or banana/apple fritters. Dinner served on a huge lazy susan which was so easy given the amount of food served. Excellent service and will be returning.

We visited this restaurant on Mother's Day without a reservation, but they were able to accommodate us despite being very busy. We enjoyed the delicious Mother's Day set menu at £19.95 per person, which we found to be excellent value. The service was friendly and attentive, and we would definitely return when in Southport again.
Had a takeaway from here, staff were very nice and attentive. We got home and the food was very bland, no flavour. All the dishes had the same bland taste. Black bean sauce bland Vermicelli no spice or flavour. Duck spring rolls poor and the sauce had lumps of sugar in it. Sorry but won't be returning there
Went for early bird meal, food really bland, nothing seemed clean, waiters clothes very dirty, leaning across table to pass food over, not going around, food nearly ended up on elderly friends lap!! Would not be going back, or recommend to anyone.
Our visit to the restaurant was excellent. We were in Southport for the afternoon and decided to stop by this restaurant, where we had dined before a few years ago. The food was delicious and flavorful, and the staff was outstanding.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and there was plenty of it. The decor was lovely and well-decorated. The waiter, who had fair hair and a ponytail, was excellent and truly an asset to the restaurant.
This restaurant serves illegal shark fin soup! Very disappointing. Won’t be visiting this restaurant ever again. It shouldn’t even be allowed to be open
