I have ordered from this restaurant many times over the past few years and have generally been pleased with food. However tonight I ordered chicken with cashews and white rice combo and when I got home I found there was hardly any chicken/Lots of carrots and celery, very little chicken. I called the restaurant and got transferred to several people and eventually was told they were were sorry and they would give me a free egg roll in a future order. Not exceptable. i paid almost $11 for the meal of carrots and celery and white rice with a few pieces of chicken. I will never order from Island Garden again. Too many good Chinese restaurants on the North Shore to order again from them and lousy...
I have been going here before and all through COVID. They only shut down for about a week while they installed plexiglass over their counter and are very good about keeping their masks on. The real reason I go here though is for their Sweet and Sour Chicken for only 8.75 I get a large portion of chicken, with pork fried rice and a big egg roll. It's all good plus they're fast and friendly. Yelp has had them listed as closed but they are open and cooking!
I like this restaurant! They serve first-cleass meals, they have a nice menu, The cook in that restaurant is well trained, I enjoy a lot trying all their food. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the visitors is good. I visit often this restaurant and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.
I got chicken lo mein and Kung pow chicken and they were AMAZING!!! We got it delivered and it was here, hot and ready, within 30 minutes!!! Such a great restaurant with wonderful employees and customer service! We love this place!!!

I would have loved to give a 4 but 3 out of the 6 spare ribs were burned (like charcoal), pretty unedible, threw them out. The chicken may fun was good, may order again and will specify no burned spare ribs .
Great General tso sauce coated chicken wings. Green plantain were mid, got soggy really fast. Service was very nice tho. Sauce was sweet nd not spicy at all.
Ordered chicken mein, chicken broccoli and pork fried rice for the family 3 days ago. We all caught a stomach bug. Threw up all night. I don't recommend.
My first experience was a very good one. Thank you. Shrimp egg foo young was excellent. Shrimp fried rice was good too. Food was piping hot.

The food is constantly well prepared and tasty, workers gives good service. I liked the cleanliness and vibes. Worth a try.
Good quality, quick service and clean. Also, they are open later than others in the area.
