New Era - Reserva de mesa

We have been loyal customers of New Era for many years since it first opened. The food has always been excellent, which is why the restaurant has received so many positive reviews. However, we were disappointed with our meal last night. The Aromatic Crispy Duck, usually outstanding, was greasy and the sauce lacked its usual flavor. The Sweet and Sour King Prawn Balls were tasty but also soaked in grease at the bottom of the container. The Spring Rolls were large but overly greasy as well. We were very disappointed with the decline in quality. It seems like there may be new management or a new chef in place. For the time being, we will not be returning to New Era.

If you enjoy Chinese food that is overly sweet and greasy, with every dish tasting the same, then this restaurant is for you. The quality of the food here is worse than what I feed my dog from a can. The server is friendly and polite, but it's hard to be happy when serving up such low-quality food at high prices. I can't wait to get rid of this food from my system and never eat it again. I should have stuck with the rude but fresh-tasting food from Wokaway in Farnborough. I hope this review helps, but now I need to go make myself feel better.

I frequent this Chinese takeaway restaurant 1-2 times a month and I can confidently say it is the best in the area. The menu selection is great, the food is prepared quickly, tastes delicious, portions are generous, prices are affordable, and the staff is friendly. When ordering for 4-8 people, the food is usually ready within 30 minutes. I highly recommend trying the Duck Curry, it is amazing. Just a reminder, I am British and my family is Chinese.

I go out of my way to get my Chinese food from here the people here are polite and friendly. The Dinner box they do is so tasty and fresh highly recommend you try this. if you are NOT a vegetarian. Lots of meat rice and veg and the sauce it comes in is very tasty also comes with a big pancake roll And you get a lot of food very good value Love it Reserva una mesa ahora

What a gem to find never tasted Chinese food like it. The spring rolls crispy and tasty and the duck was to die for if we didn’t live so far away would be in there every night

Always have a great meal from here. Lady behind the counter is always friendly and knows everyone's names. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
