The inn in the charming village of Clapham is quite impressive. Although we primarily visited the pub, I noticed that there are also rooms available, making it a perfect spot for walkers taking on nearby Ingleborough or the three peaks challenge. The interior decor was a bit unexpected - instead of the traditional country inn look I anticipated, it was very modern with sleek and light furnishings. Luckily, our walk had been on a dry day so our boots were not muddy or wet. However, I would have been a bit concerned if they were. I indulged in a Peroni after completing a nine mile walk, but was taken aback by the price of £4.90 per pint. The food menu, on the other hand, was reasonably priced...
Great finding. The new property is absolutely doing their best to run this little inn. We got an amazing last minute deal, which we still find hard to believe after seeing how good it was. The room was huge, so was the bathroom, with shower and a separate bathtub. The food we tried was amazing. I had for dinner the chicken Kiev who was cooked to perfection, and the breakfast, which was included in the room price, was a nice surprise to find out instead of continental, we had several hot dishes to choose from, and not from a buffet, but simply cooked on demand. HORRIBLE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I traveled for 5 hours to reach this restaurant, only to discover that they are closed for business. Despite receiving an email confirming my reservation 4 days ago, and discussing check-in time just a few weeks ago, there was no attempt to contact me in advance. When I tried to call to inquire about the situation, there was no answer. This has resulted in me having to drive another 5 hours back home and wasting 2 days of my vacation. If the previous owner is reading this, they should be ashamed of themselves!
I visited this restaurant over the weekend, first for drinks and then for Sunday Lunch. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. The food was really tasty and the desserts were heavenly. The service was excellent, and the location of the restaurant has a great view. It was also great value for money. Overall, a fantastic experience.

I had a wonderful experience at the upscale village Hostelrie! The service was excellent and the food was delicious at very reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning in the future. The rooms were top-notch, the service was impeccable, and the location was perfect. The hotel also boasts a great view and a romantic atmosphere.

Located in the stunning area of Clapham, this restaurant is truly impressive. While we initially visited as patrons of the pub, I soon realized that they also offer accommodations, making it the perfect place to stay.
