During my time in Carbondale for school, I absolutely loved this restaurant. I recently returned to Carbondale and decided to try it again after a long time, and I was happy to find that the taste and quality are still outstanding. I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce as well as their top seafood dishes, and both were excellent. If you're traveling or new to this area, it's definitely worth a visit!
More than once, More than twice, had carryout. Every single dish us exceptional! Delectable! More than generous portions! I promise, if you have never tried it you are absolutely positively missing OUT!! I AM SPOILED for any other and New Kahala is the standard by which I will forever judge any other Chinese! I'm still dreaming of dinner last night!!
During my last two visits, the quality of the food has really declined. It was greasy and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, as much as I wanted to enjoy my experience, I have to say it's a no-go for me. I’ll be getting my lunches at China Wok from now on. On the bright side, the staff were very friendly.

While not much to look at, thevfood is totally awesome! The people are also very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to eat.
