We took a drive to Rockland for some change of scenery shopping, saw this place and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is medium size on the inside with a "cottage" type feeling along with a few Chinese decorations, and on the outside at the front is a covered patio. When we arrived it was not very busy so we sat at a window table looking out at the patio and the street.The restaurant appeared clean and so were the plates, water glasses and utensils. The buffet does not have a huge number of items to choose from but all the usual chinese basics are there (maybe 15 or 20) which satisfied us. Quality of food we thought to be above average...tasty and warm enough, and the cost for the lun...

This is one of the best kept secrets in the region. The food is amazing as it is homemade, and Kenny and his family ensure the highest quality of food is brought piping hot and delicious. There buffet steam line may be smaller than most, but the food contained in it is fresh, hot and very tasty. We are regular customers for either the buffet, or take out. The take out portions are more adequate. Some of their signature dishes we recommend are Singapore noodles, General Toas chicken, the spicy house vegetables are extremely delicious. The meal costs are very affordable.

If you want a better buffet, try the Maison de Xin just a few blocks away. Since Ruby King close down in Orleans we thought we would try a take out of egg rolls and were very happy with the Xin's egg rolls. This restaurant didn't impressed us at all - dingy looking and not enough variety on their buffet so we walked out.

Clean place but poor to average food. We came for lunch and there was not a large variety of food and what was presented at the buffet was not very fresh. For the price we expected a better mix of items and of course food that was fresh and hot. The waitress was very pleasant - too bad the food fell short.

This is the best Chinese restaurant/take out in Rockland. The take out portions are very generous compared to other Chinese take out places. Food is typical Chinese fare and the restaurant itself could use a makeover inside and out but the food is decent and so are the prices.

Whether its the buffet, eat in, or take out. Food is always fresh, hot and very flavourful. You have to try their Singapore noodles, General Tao's chicken.

I've had their buffet once and takeout twice. All times the food was good, but not exceptional. This is uninspired, steam-table food.
