this is a beautiful pub in the city center of newcastle, very close to the railway station. the bar staff was friendly and attentive. the bar area was nice and clean. the toilets were clean and with the essential on storage and were gender-neutral. the drinks were served in interesting glasses that is always a plus in my book. here there is a decent selection of real ale. the food they serve is a lot of pizza flatcake. I had the “it is meat they were looking” option that was really delicious. decent music and a pleasant atmosphere.

This is a very nice bar/pub just opposite Central Station. There is a wide range of cask keg craft/real ales and other styles. All are well kept served. I had nduja sausage with fresh chilli pizza and salad. Really good made fresh every time. Highly recommend!

my man and I visited newcastle recently and called in the tap for a drink, we ended the stop for 5 pints. very clean social distancing organizes very well, glasses sparkling and the staff very friendly. we will visit again sue ralph

very cool venue with a large selection of beer/sales on tap and keg. very well furnished for social distancing and really excellent table service from the personal. highly recommended

Excellent service and staff knowledge, food with locally sourced ingredients and a range of cask and keg beers including imported from Germany and Czech Republic
