The dining room is spacious, and the restaurant is run by a lovely husband and wife team. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a place outside of the city, as this style of Chinese food is becoming increasingly rare. There’s a particular demographic of Chinese Canadians who migrated to Canada before 1990 (think the 70s and 80s, maybe even the 60s), and they brought with them this unique style of cooking that you hardly find in Vancouver anymore.
It’s wonderful that Cumberland has this restaurant, and they continue to serve food in the same way. I especially want to highlight their egg rolls—they're the traditional kind, crispy and delicious. You just don’t find them made like this in Va...
