Nick's Drive-in - Reserva de mesa

Went back today after not having been in for a while. Not sure when it happened but the gyros I had today was basic generic gyro meat with fillers you can get at any cheap place. Nick’s used to have the best homemade gyros in town. You can clearly tell the difference. Too bad. I know the pandemic has hit restaurants hard but this is a real loss. Very friendly service. But I will miss the homemade gyros. Hard to find that around and was worth the drive out from downtown.

I recently had a disappointing meal at this restaurant with a friend. They consistently get the order wrong, and I'm not sure if it's the inexperienced staff or the lack of attention from management. Despite the mistakes, I usually just correct them and move on. However, this time was the final straw. The food quality has declined, the prices have increased, and once again, they got the order wrong. There are plenty of other places I prefer to dine at instead.

Dining at this restaurant is incredibly delicious. It is evident that the chefs here have many years of experience in creating flavorful dishes. Be sure to try the Greek bun and kartoffel - the rich lemon flavor and crispy skin are unmatched. It is refreshing to support a family-owned business. The prices are very affordable, so instead of opting for their typical fast food stop, come here for a delicious and budget-friendly meal!

The Gentlemen here are just the sweetest ever and they see to your needs. The bacon cheeseburgers are out of this world. Crispy bacon, cheesy and just delicious toppings. Never a long wait for anything, but they make sure your wait is enjoyable and fun. I crave their bacon cheeseburgers and only theirs are what I want ? Reserva una mesa ahora

Back in the day Nick's was way better, the last few times I tried it the Gyro was kinda small for the price and it was a litte flat tasting in my opinion.

best gyros I had in chicagoland. maybe they ask for another pita at the order. fresh cut even around 2 o'clock. fresh cut swirl.

Love the food here. Staff is super friendly, food is always hot, and never had a bad meal here. Anything gyro is my favorite.
