This was our third visit to Nick's, and unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. While the service was fantastic—our waitress was both friendly and attentive—the food was lacking. We started with a pretzel appetizer, which came out undercooked and doughy. For our main courses, we ordered the Jägerschnitzel and the Lumberjack Schnitzel, but both dishes were flavorless and poorly seasoned, making for a rather dull meal. To top it off, we tried the chocolate cake with ice cream, which was touted as indulgent but turned out to be surprisingly tasteless. Visited on Halloween night and had delightful evening. Food both ordered jaeger schnitzel) was delish! Apple strudel for dessert was tasty, but pricey for its somewhat diminutive size. Both of us liked our beer and wine selections, especially the spatlese. Service was impeccable . Our server, Leander, is priceless!
Always wonderful and especially nice to celebrate my husbands birthday- that he shares with Nick! Everything was delicious and reminded me of growing up. We were inspired to cook Sauerbraten and try our hand at spaetzle for our family Christmas dinner. Prost! to Nicks German Kitchen
The food is excellent. Nick never disappoint. The portions are more than enough to leave you asking for a Togo box. The service is above average. They are attentive and polite. Don't forget to make reservations or you will be disappointed.
