Nick's Place Winthrop

there are so many things that i can say about this location but its nothing short of spectacular. I grew up in Winthrop I remember when this location used to be a McDonalds long time ago and i must say the best thing to come into Winthrop is nicks place. I remember in middle school I would walk to nicks place with my friends and order a sandwich and sit down and eat. The food was always amazing the staff was always kind. Forward now many years later and i can honestly say the same thing all over again. Although ive grown up and moved away from Winthrop i always find myself coming back to get a nice hot and fresh meal. I now live in Beverly and i still will make the drive from time to time to...

A little place with a lot of character! Just moved my daughter to Winthrop from CT. Starving tired, we stumbled into Nick’s. What a fantastic find! Gabriella was our server, probably THE BEST SERVER we have ever had!!! She tuned in as soon as we entered the restaurant…paid attention, gave great recommendations and took care of us from beginning to end. This is what service should be about…not someone pretty without personality standing behind a counter..like we frequently experience in the Nutmeg State. Gabriella gave us great recommendations…honey BBQ steak tips, baked haddock, huge sides of steak fries salad…homemade Nick’s house dressing tartar sauce…and a surprise of fresh fried dough bi...

I 've never been here. My coworker ordered a pizza (or calzone? Idk it had chicken and I think the sauce was BBQ or something) here a couple months ago and said it was burnt. So apparently he called and got another pizza. But he let everyone else have the burnt pizza. Let me tell you, that burnt pizza was the best god damn pizza I 've ever tasted in my life. I 'm not exaggerating. I 've never tasted a better pizza ever.

The service was excellent , however we went there on a 95 degree day and they had no AC on. Just the doors open no fans. HOT AS HELL IN THERE. I had 3 small kids in there and my friend had her 10 m old. No excuses for that. Y'all got ovens going constantly and have audacity to expect people to pay to sit and eat there in that heat. We come on Sundays Gaberiella and Tony the owner are wonderful people always helpful we get the fisherman platter every time we come and we come on Sundays because Gaberiella is a wonderful person always out of her way to help us whenever we need to!

I live in REVERE, EXACTLY 1.5 miles away from this place.. they told me that I lived TOO FAR AWAY to deliver too. I will NEVER order from this place again, I RECOMMEND NICKS BISTRO IN REVERE as they will deliver anywhere.. August 4, 2024
