For our main courses, we ordered the Smoked Trout Salad and Nick's Famous Crab Sandwich. The Trout Salad was light and refreshing, with the fish cooked just right—not overly smoky. The Crab Sandwich was generous enough to serve two, filled with delicious crab, and the bread was nicely toasted and not overwhelming. The only downside was that it could have used a binder to hold the crab to the bread, making it a bit dry.
For dessert, we tried the Spiced Pumpkin Cobbler, which was incredibly tasty with great flavors—just the right amount of spice and it melted in your mouth. The ice cream paired beautifully with it.

I had a party here with friends, i had it reserved way early like a month before, n kept on reminding them as the event got closer. When we got there earlier than the reservation time, the table wasnt set up fully yet, it was not even enough, lacking 2 more tables, i kept on reminding the hosts, but they seemed unprepared. Ok, im done with that, my next review is the size of their wine glass that made me so upset. Other ppl wont feel this, but gosh, this is a primerib/steak place, they should have a bigger decent size of a wine glass that we typically see in other restaurants and not this. And the server is even pouring the wine with just a little amount. This doesnt look pretty in the pictu...
Best location. Best food. Best owner story, what not to like? I was referred here by a local friend who lives nearby. I came and got a royal treatment by very friendly staff. The space is large, suitable for both single eater and family. The bar waseven equipped with a modern jukebox. I ordered lobster ravioli ???? as I was instructed by my friend. I did and was beyondhappy. The gentle cream on top pulled me in. The pasta skins were crunchy in its original al dente form. The lobster was freshand unforgettable. Very addicting, just wish I have a bigger belly.
Craving for mussels paved the way to drop by here. We ordered shells (Rockefeller and mussels soup). Fish tacos and crab sandwiches. Mussels are okay- it is better with ginger @15pieces. Oysters are okay as well but need to work on the sauce mix on top. Fish taco's were fine too, overflowing with stuff that you need to eat a bit before you can hold it. The crab sandwich here is more filled than the England Lobster though the bread is a bit hard. Ambiance is great as it is overlooking the Rockaway Beach.

We came here for dinner after a day at Half Moon/ Rockaway. It's right off the main street at the beach and always has customers but isn't crowded. The views of the beach and ocean are awesome. The restaurant is roomy and has a dance floor areaand musical entertainment some nights. The sea food was great and the red lamb chops sooo tender it was delicious. We ate,drank Stella Artois and had a great time. There are hotels and shops as well. Very nice place to dine and enjoy a pacificcoast sunset!
I think this is one of the best, if not the best restaurants I have ever gone to. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was really nice and kind : . I got the lobster with veggies and baked potato and it was all SO GOOD. I also tried theirminestrone soup and it was super yummy as well. Their crab sandwich was also SUPER yummy. The place and utensils looked reallyclean as well. Everything was absolutely delicious and I HIGHLY recommend this place! It was awesome :
We had the BEST experience at Nicks. The bar staff were incredibly nice and their teamwork created the best service I?ve ever had at a bar. The lamb chops melted in my mouth! Trout salad was so light and my hubby and I fought over the halibut special.Only thing missing was a gluten free dessert option. We will definitely return!
While I do love this place, a to-go order of a open faced crab sammie with American Cheese and Avocado did have me cringing at $48. Service is always awesome have it be take out or to go. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, and I'll still come back but maybe deter from that crab sammie!

Enjoyed a fabulous meal right at sunset with a reserved window booth. Highly accommodating staff and all things ordered were as expected. If your worried about the price there is a Taco Bell on the beach right down the road! Enjoy!
We have been eating at Nicks for 30 years! We never had a problem or bad meal there. The Crab sandwich is the best in town! The views spectacular! The staff is very attentive and professional. Well worth trying!
