At the beginning, this is by far the best pommes I had in Illinois, hot, fresh cut, with skin and just the right amount of salt. Secondly, they hook you with so much meat that you take a bit out to eat your gyro sandwich. The taste of meat is not the best I had, but definitely top 3. Where it seems, is how moist and delicate every slice of meat is. The Pita bread has the correct texture and is strong enough to keep together under the weight of meat, sauce, tomatoes and onions. Speaking of onions, they put up quite a bit, so you will need some chewing gum afterwards, but the onions are necessary to add the correct amount of sharpness and a subtle sweet taste.
