Nine Japanese Bistro

I’m not normally want to write a bad review for place. However this was that bad that I felt an obligation to the wider community to let them know I had been here previously years ago and I thought I should revisit this place as from memory it was an amazing food experience. Sadly, I was mistaken My partner and I went for the six course degustation. Valued at course. Salmon and scallop. The salmon and scallop both lacked flavour. Ice cold thin pieces of both. As a topper, pieces of cut up salmon on the middles piece of the scallop. Very uninspired and lacking flavour course. Cavier pasta. Maybe the only saving grace in this whole fiasco. Don't be too put off by my only stars. I'm a hard critique.I have nothing to complain about the meals. I'm going to say it's similar to Tapas the way the menu was kind of set with option. The atmosphere of the restaurant was a lot more quiet than some tapas places which will suit some. We were about to talk clearly between us without any problems talking normally.At per person for the courses, I just would have expected something exceptional though. Every dish was good but nothing wowed me though. There was nothing I went I wish I could have more if that It brought perfection in what was made but it was just slightly simple for my personal liking.

it makes sense to position this restaurant as a fine dining room modern Japanese bistro. premise are reasonable size with comfortable seating in the front part of the restaurant as well as a quieter back surface. eating is all nicely plated, and is a fusion of Japanese and modern Australian. innovative use of ingredients. the caviar pasta exemplified innovation as well as a taste of tradition with ikura in the mouth over a warm pasta. the wine list is very limited and should be extended or supplemented with a byo with corkage offer. a more comfortable place to eat and spend a nice evening in, but not really stand out.

One of our go tos. Great value for money and great options too. I love my steak but would probably prefer this one with less sauce (unless it's mushroom or pepper but that wouldn't be Japanese would it). Reserva una mesa ahora
