What an incredible find! We visited on a lovely warm summer evening and enjoyed a meal on the terrace. The chips and salsa were a great precursor to the delicious food that followed! Everything was authentic and fresh. We shared a Molcajete with shrimp, and it was simply amazing—so juicy and flavorful, with the beans adding a wonderful creaminess. The various meats were tender, while the Chile Relleno and Nopales melted in our mouths! My son had the Chuleton (ribeye tacos) accompanied by delicious potatoes and cheese tortillas; he loved them! Still Azul exceeded our expectations! From the stunning original artwork and beautifully crafted resin tables to the delicious food and delightful drinks, this place offers a remarkable culinary experience. All the staff were incredibly friendly and provided excellent menu recommendations, including vegetarian options. The owners and their daughter were warm and genuinely passionate about the aesthetics of their restaurant and the quality of their food. With a uniquely authentic menu, this is a new must-try for food lovers!
We were really impressed by this place!! There were 7 of us and all loved their food! It's not the same old Mexican food in the hundreds of other Mexican restaurants. I have the Pescador who has shrimps, mussels and fish in it. Wow, what a great taste! I will definitely order it again. The interior was so cool!! Compliments to the owner who apparently painted everything! We all talked about what we want to keep up with the next visit. Service was great! Bianca was so nice and very attentive.
Some of the best Mexican food I've had in SCV! We ordered taquitos for their special Taquito Thursday at just $1.50 each, along with queso fundido and chips, a side of rice, and a pomegranate margarita. Everything was incredibly delicious, and our server was very friendly—though I can't recall her name, she had dark hair and glasses. We'll definitely be back to try more dishes!

So good! The 'gourmet ' tacos are simply amazing. Delicious chorizo with cheese street style tacos, shrimp and a few other varieties make them the best. They are large portioned so just a couple will definitely fill you up. Excellent chips and bean dip and a great variety of Mexican fare with a twist. Great quality.
Definitely not your typical Mexican restaurant. So unique with great food presentation. The decor is awesome too. Yesterday was the first time service (and waiting to be seated at bar) was slow, but the food made it worth it.
Great food, decent price! Their jalapeno margherita was . Had the shrimp and ribeye tacos. Ribeye was by far the winner. Will be coming again soon.
The food and atmosphere were fantastic! The enchiladas and margaritas were especially noteworthy. I am looking forward to going back!
