Visited this restaurant a few times with previous owners and it was Ok. New owners have taken it to another level with respect to presentation, meal choices, price point, courtesy and comfortable surroundings. Had not been here for a couple of years but have now visited twice in the last two weeks. Ate once inside in the beautiful old house and outside on the patio the second time. The four of us had the salmon, pork chops, calfs liver, and chicken bowl and everyone thought their dish was perfect. The chocolate brownie and crime brûlée desserts really topped it off. It is now our go to restaurant in the Bobcaygeon- Fenelon Falls area and we will be returning often.
Went their for my Birthday. First time since it changed hands abou t 2 months ago. Does lunch and dinner but last order from kitchen must be in by 8.00 Has a liquor lisence, beautiful restoration of house. Has a new summer patio. Very good service and food is great. Lots of free parking on street. Offered doggie. bags. The problem is too big servings. Suggest splitting the appetizer as I could never eat bothVery nice folks who own it. A retired bank manager and a cook.Internet address. . Need reservations in summer. Even lunch can be heavily booked. Very reasonable food prices. Just luv it. But very small so get the reservation in fast
Recently visited Nolan's for a gathering which they hosted beautifully, and stayed for dinner. Service was excellent, the menu varied enough to accommodate food sensitivities in my party, and the food perfection itself. I had the Vienna Schnitzel which was perfectly cooked encrusted in a delicate batter of which my Austrian Mother In Law would have heartily approved. Service was prompt and friendly. The meal well priced. Don't miss this hidden gem in the Kawartha's if you're traveling through Fenelon Falls. Better still, make a reservation and make it your destination!
Two weeks ago the service was horrid. Took too long to be served. A 2 1/2 hr meal could have been served in an hour. Food was not good in fact tasteless. Doggy bag most of it.and added stuff to it when I got home. Think a good restaurant off season.patio not a good place Togo. Get on the porch where thir are only 4 tables and you can have a great view.Really nice folks who run it but too mant patrons causes a big stretch to what they can do. Reserva una mesa ahora
While staying at a cottage on Cameron Lake, I was in search of a light lunch. I stumbled upon this restaurant and was very satisfied with my experience. The salsa quiche was outstanding - the pastry was incredibly light and flaky. The peaceful atmosphere on the outdoor patio, away from the main road, was a nice touch. The owners were also very welcoming. We enjoyed our lunch so much that we decided to return for dinner!
I have been to Nolan's many times for lunch, dinner and just a cold beer and apps. I have never been disappointed, they change the menu just often enough. I have never not enjoyed the food, or the service. The ambience is great, in the chillier months enjoy the fireplace on a nice evening I love the big porch to sit out on. And for a cold beverage on a warm day the patio is perfect! Highly recommend!
We followed the recommendation to make a reservation for Saturday night at this restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the incredible French onion soup and everything else we tried. The dirty martinis were the best we've ever had. Our waitress, Kourtney, was lovely. We highly recommend this restaurant.
