"Good smokey meat on a stick. Pretty hard to get it wrong. Had the lamb and some chicken sticks. Price is reasonable for a shopping centre (not a hawker...) Order was taken quickly but food took 15minutes to prepare and serve."

Having grown up on cumin lamb skewers from Chinese street vendors, I was very excited to relive my childhood at Lamb & Cumin. Got their signature lamb skewers - 5 for $8. Not bad value and definitely moreish. Love the cumin and chilli salt which you can use according to your liking. The lamb is pretty tender, although some bits were a bit fatty. Overall, it made me nostalgic for those smoky charcoal-y plump lamb chunks that I had when I was a kid. jinandjase.com

I've been eating at the same udon place like three times in a row whenever I went to Chatswood so insisting on going to Hawkers Lane this time was a refreshing decision. The koay teow at Jim's Malaysia was honestly the only menu item in the whole food court that I was interested in, and so I ordered it without hesitation. It's $12.80, a little over my usual food budget, but it's really good especially the sambal (???) on the side. The noodles are so soft as well!! I would go here again perhaps to try the nasi lemak.

What can I say... that's the perfect combinations! Flavour bring me back memory of living in China. Having skewer by the side road, and the aroma from skewer being grilled giving you authentic Xinjiang dish experiences. Here in Chatswood store, you can see the skewer also being made and griller from the outside clear windows. The skewer it self Combine lamb rump pieces and fat, and meat has been marinated with cumin and salt. For 3 skewers it will cost you $ 5.50 And for 5 skewers $ 8

Had the hainanese chicken rice for lunch with teh ais for drink. While waiting for my order a customer came back with his laksa complaining of an undercooked chicken. Some of the meat for my chicken rice was slighty undercooked as well, some were still chewy and red on the inside. While the other meats were edible but still soft and slighty cooked. I still enjoyed the fragrant rice and teh ais. Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited back in May and still having nightmares about this place. What a rip-off. My pregnant wife paid $19.80 for an Ultimate Nasi Lemak and water. Fried chicken undercooked. Should have gone upstairs for a $5 KFC lunch instead. Infact my wife has hated KFC for her entire life but this awful experience at Jim's has coverted her into a KFC lover. Man I am still not over it.

We had the Teriyaki Wagyu Beef and the Lamb skewers. Good value at around $10 for 5 Beef and $5 for 3 Lamb skewers. The lamb was the tastier out of the two for me. Pieces of lamb fat made it more tender and juicier. The beef skewers were more chewy and tough. Overall good value!

Located in Hawker Lane chatswood, decor is essentially a food court which is decorated like a bustling laneway in Asia. I thought the skewers were not too bad, chewy with nice spices. 3 for $5.50 or 5 for $8 for fairly thin skewers is not cheap though. Reserva una mesa ahora

Definitely one of the better places to eat in Hawkers lane. The food is of a decent quality with a price range to match. The service is pretty responsive when all factors are taken into account with the amount of people eating
