I visited this restaurant to try something new, and while the food was delicious, I had a disappointing experience with one of the staff members. The woman who took care of us was quite pushy about getting a large tip. We didn’t feel she deserved it because her service was minimal; she simply asked us to scan the menu, brought us water, and then spent most of her time at the counter attending to other tasks. After delivering our food, she kept pressing us for a bigger tip, which felt very unprofessional and negatively impacted the atmosphere. As a Chinese person myself, I felt it was disheartening to see this behavior, and it particularly left a bad impression on my husband, who is Mexican....
Have you ever been to Mian? Well it's just like that but with a twist in variety. Overall, this place has come a long way~ and as one of the first to try the restaurant, I can definetly say it has only gotten better. The spices are much more balanced than before and the serving is solid. I recommend to anyone in the Chino Hills area who is craving some soup that is not the typical pho or ramen.
The only reason I keep coming back is because the food is delicious. However, the staff is quite rude; they never greet you or say thank you. It seems they don’t take orders directly anymore; they just deliver the food once you've scanned your order. On top of that, they have the audacity to ask for a larger tip. It's frustrating, but it’s true.
If tipping is mandatory, please put up a sign at the entrance. The food was good, but the service was lacking. The server pursued us on our way out, insisting that we leave a larger tip after simply scanning the menu and bringing us water. I will not be returning; it was a negative experience.

I didn't think I needed any service when I ordered takeaway, but the attitude of the woman ordering at the front desk was really bad, and I was impatient when I asked the first sentence! Why is she in the service industry? I really don't understand!
My friends and I stopped by. Lady basically obligated us to give her more tip than what we left. She made us feel like tip wasn 't enough. Said that we Americans usually leave more than 50 dollar tip. Never coming back here again!!!
I love this noodle restaurant! The soup here is unique and service is fast. If you love spicy food that’s enjoyable to eat this is the place to go. The beef rice noodle with red and green chili is 10/10
It 1/3 of the bowl and it charges us $12.99. Just a dollar difference with their noodle. Come on at least full bowl of soup. What a rip off. Will never order this wonton in chicken soup
