Great food, tasty specialty drinks, and outstanding bartenders! As a local, I can confirm that many negative reviews come from people who were banned for fighting or harassing women and who have bad reputations around town. Don’t let their opinions influence you! Prices here are also much more affordable than at other spots. The Carne Asada tacos are generous in size and absolutely delicious!
Just spent the weekend in the Clearwater beach area and I have to tell you that North Island Bar was probably my favorite spot. It was very low key, great atmosphere seems like a place where locals hang out. Jose the bartender was super attentive and very pleasant. Very engaging with all that were there. And the shrimp and rice soup was the bomb! So good I didn’t have time to post a pic of.
Was in Clearwater for a short stay in mid-April. We ended up closing out the bar 3 of the 4 nights we were there. Jose is a very attentive bartender. Seems to be a place where the locals hang out. We felt very welcomed and plan to return in September. North Island WILL be our watering hole.
Local low-key watering hole where tourists are welcomed. Great spot to sit outside on a stool and enjoy a beverage. Nice lil beach bar. Good for getting buzzed and then strolling over to the beach a mere block away. Will go back! Reserva una mesa ahora
The kitchen is open (yay)! On my walk home from work, I ordered chips and queso along with a burrito. I even passed on hanging out with my neighbors because the food was just too delicious! I highly recommend this place!
Best bar on the island, great Bar Tenders and fantastically nice owner good prices and great vibes. Definitely you're goto spot for a beer or mixed drink visiting Clearwater beach Fl swing.
I visited this restaurant just once, and I had a lovely experience. It was a bit on the pricey side, but not excessively so. It’s a great spot to enjoy some drinks.

"Nice view, great staff service and food was good. Fried peppers were great, not too hot but tasty. Rum bucket was fun; grouper nuggets, gator bites, calamari was average. French fries were better than expected. Recommend the Mahi Shrimp Platter as awinner."
