This was a restaurant I was excited to visit again. My last visit was one year ago and worthy of 3 1/2 stars. I returned at the recommendation of friends who had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar watching the oyster shuckers work their magic while enjoying wonderful food. I wanted that kind of night. Unfortunately this evening's experience was not as good. I should have known right from the moment I walked in. It is one those restaurants that make you feel as though you are not worthy to be there. I asked for a seat at the bar and was told it was "reserved". There were at least 10+ seats at the bar unoccupied all evening. Why didn't I listen to my in inner voice that said "leave now!...

Great location with a terrace where you can enjoy a variety of oysters from Canadian provenance - they grate their own horseradish. We shared a selection of 12 oysters followed by a clam chowder (with too much potato) and fish tacos which are so big that you can share and be sated if you have had an appetizer. Unfortunately there is no salt and pepper on the table and the guacamole in the tacos could have used a bit more. (Some of the chairs are coming apart or do not turn in the right direction to avoid hurting yourself on the arm rest).

Had a table on the terrace with my family. The service was in top with friendly and very qualified service that led us to some good orders. Great oysters and good Cava for appetizers. Also main dishes were perfect. And the place was silent without music so we could communicate over the table (and not as in many other places around Montreal where you should scream to each other if you want to talk). Will truly return to this place for the good food and the nice service. Price level is in accordance with the quality of the restaurant.

Hidden gem that is different from many restaurants in Montreal. The shuckers at the bar have a cool vibe and they interact with you. They didn’t have a problem explaining what each oyster was and their experiences. Even let us try a fresh meaty one with a dab of caviar on it. The decor is unreal, this is the aspect I loved. The bathrooms are amazing-yes huge bathroom fan, they will shock you. A must to try this place out. And yes this was the old Notkins Reserva una mesa ahora

We were a group of 3 for Oystermania. The oysters were fantastic and the wine was quite good as well. The waitress even offered us a free shot because we were made to wait a little longer than usual for our oysters. Overall, a great experience.

Olivier made our first experience enjoyable, patient and informative. He was knowledgeable and hospitable, the food entertained my tastebuds, rich in flavour. Will definitely come back and make sure you get a cappuccino in the end.

I went for the special on oysters but it was not a good idea,it was crowded the service was poor and they ran out of the wine I wanted to order

Understaffed!! food left waiting to deliver, arrived cold. Server was nice, but spread too thinly. Food was average.
