Last night, I enjoyed the Blackened Blue burger, and it was exceptional. I opted for a salad on the side, which was drizzled with a delicious white balsamic vinaigrette. Tonight, I decided to try the Greek salad, which initially looked and tasted great. However, I quickly noticed that the cucumbers were mostly missing their best parts; they had been bitten into rather than sliced cleanly. There was only one piece that was neatly cut. I can't quite understand why they would take the best parts away like that—it was a bit off-putting. Overall, I was uncertain about how to rate the experience; everything else was satisfactory, but I must admit that the white balsamic dressing on the house salad...
I stopped by Notorious Burgers for a meal between my golf rounds at the Omni La Costa Resort, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the best burger spot in Carlsbad. I had the Capone burger, featuring a juicy beef blend patty, pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, avocado mash, sriracha aioli, and a cage-free fried egg on a sourdough bun. The flavors were absolutely amazing. I also tried the truffle tots on the side, which were just as delicious. The service was quick, and the food quality was outstanding. This place truly lives up to the reputation.
I was looking for a nearby place to enjoy a burger, have some beers, and watch a baseball game on TV, and this restaurant certainly met my expectations. It features a cozy indoor area as well as a spacious patio, making it ideal for larger groups. The bartender, Nas, was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about the beers on tap. I had the Blackened Blue burger, which was delicious, and they even had Pliny the Elder on tap—absolutely fantastic!
I had the pleasure of dining there three times in the past three days, and I enjoyed each visit immensely. I'd love to rave about the lemon curd dessert, but I'm hesitant to do so because I don't want it to become too popular and run out before I can get my own! It seems that Mama prepares them herself, and if she takes a break, we're all out of luck. So feel free to order anything else—just steer clear of that!

We had a fantastic family pack of burgers on New Year's Eve. What a fantastic deal! It included four delicious burgers, all the toppings, plenty of fries, and a wonderful salad. Notorious really nailed it this time! We've visited several times, and each experience has been excellent. I highly recommend supporting this local business—go enjoy it!

This restaurant in San Diego County serves the best burgers! My favorite is the Shame On Brie burger, which is packed with tasty prosciutto, creamy Brie, and fresh baby arugula. My kids really enjoy the Mac n' cheese options, and the patio is simply beautiful.
