My wife and I were traveling through California when we came across this restaurant and decided to check it out based on the reviews. The entire building and atmosphere have a distinctly Japanese feel, which is impressive—especially since I've lived in Okinawa, Japan for nearly a decade. The service was incredibly fast, despite the place being very popular in the area. The food was fantastic as well. Instead of sitting at a table, we opted to eat at the bar, which allowed us to skip the wait. The house sake was delicious, so we ordered a whole bottle. We stopped at Sakura for dinner after visiting Zion National Park because we were craving asian food. I was a little worried trying sushi in Utah, when we're from CA and there's lots of really great sushi places there and we thought maybe it would be kinda white washed and not as good but we were wrong! We sat at the sushi bar and had a few pieces of nigiri and 3 rolls, and they were all really good! The service was great as well. Our waitress was really attentive and nice, and the host staff were great for clearing us a spot at the bar so we could sit quickly instead of wait in the long line for a table. New building with ALOT of parking but for a Saturday night it was busy as expected. 45 min wait for dine in (was t concerned with the hibachi show) not bad. 1hr 30 min wait if you wanted the show. Nice lobby and fish tank to keep you occupied while you wait. Service was great. Edamame and one of the best California rolls I've seen. We all ordered hibachi style entrees and where it lost a star for me was paying $30 for the Shrimp/Scallop combo and only receiving 3 scallops. Teriyaki noodles were very sweet and not much flavor to them. Might come back to try their sushi but not sure

We visit friends in St George several times a year. We've never dined in, but always get sushi to go. It's just OKAY. Rolls are skimpy and in my opinion tasteless. Several times we've ordered rolls with eel sauce and have never gotten the sauce. Tonite we ordered 4 different rolls and got just a teeny dab of wasabi. We also ordered two salads. Again, tasteless. The lettuce was wet and the dressing watered down. I guess for this area diners are satisfied but I'm accustomed to excellent sushi in CA. This doesn't even come close. Place was jammed tho! Additionally, there's a captivating robot that glides around carrying sushi trays, and the restaurant features both a hibachi grill and a section for guests who prefer not to order hibachi. The sushi selection is extensive, and we particularly enjoyed the crab rangoons. The sushi itself was good, and I highly recommend trying their secret menu options—our favorite was the paradise roll. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit, and I look forward to returning to explore more of Sakura's offerings.

We got a reservation for one of the tea rooms! It was so fun and such a fun and quaint experience! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive and checked on us a lot yo make sure we were doing well and ask if we needed anything. We came for the sushi as its our favorite sushi place in town! We got Vegas Rolls, Mango Tango, Rowley Roll and Zion Roll. All amazing! The view from the tea room was beautiful and the small seats around the sunken table were super fun! Such a great place!

This is a fantastic restaurant! Be prepared for long wait times, as the lines can get quite lengthy, but it's definitely worth it. I love sitting at the hibachi grill because the chefs are entertaining and create a fun atmosphere. I've also heard great things about the rest of the menu. Overall, the food is outstanding, and I've never left feeling disappointed.

Incredible sashimi and decent maki options. Awesome atmosphere! 22oz draft beers were perfect for a hot day in the desert. We will return any chance we get! We met the locals who eat there every week. Reserva una mesa ahora

Th food here is fantastic. The customer service is also top notch. It is pricey, but so worth it. When I get to pick a place to go eat, I always want Sakura!

Good food , good service. We love all their food but forgot to take picture. Weekend very long line and no reservation.
