Nubo Japanese Tapas

I've been applying for a group and we were all a little disappointed with what we have. the prices are a bit steep, but we wanted to try something new. the aged ashi tofu was oily and a bit soggy, although the order did not last very long to arrive. the Yam-Tempura roll was pretty good, but I found it more fat than most places. gurke and avocado maki were good, but not excellent. the tear was very thin on them and they fell slightly apart. also the rollers were smaller than the average. edamame was tasty, but it is difficult to screw this up. overall, not bad, but I wouldn't eat here again.

came to nubo for my birthday dinner and was not disappointed! they made us vegan veggie and avocado tempura, as well as agadashi tofu and a series of rolls. the tempura had hardly a dough on it (because they don't use an eager set), but it was still tasty! loved their shiiitake nigiri and the inari (tofu wrap with rice in it) they also have so many chic veggie roles. would definitely recommend going here.

creative menu, attentive staff several vegan options, good choice of Japanese whiskey. we had: coco mango pang rolle (best of the night) karai tofu; deep roasted aged tofu in sweet chili oil veggie avengers roll, interesting falafel. avocado tempura, damn well updated by previous review on 2021-12-29

Not sure why this is on the list. There are no vegan options on the menu and when I asked the server, she said there’s nothing vegan but they did modify a sushi roll for me to make it vegan which was appreciated. Food was good but I wouldn’t say there are vegan options available.

here there were vegan options with some creative rolling. pretty standard options for Japanese/Sushi food. be ready for the in-house service.
