I ORDERED 3 PASTRAMI SANDWICHES WITH FRIES OVER THE PHONE, 3 DIFFERENT MEALS, THEY TOLD ME 15 MINUTES. ONCE I GOT THERE THEY DIDN'T HAVE MY ORDER WHICH WAS 71.00, THEY ASKED WE CALLED THE RIGHT PLACE, SHOWED THEM THE NUMBER AND SHE TOLD US, YES THEY CALLED HERE. SO WE HAD TO REORDER, THEN THE PRICE WENT TO 80.00. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, THEY CHARGED ME SEPARATELY FOR MY ORDER, WHICH I SHOULD OF GOTTEN A DISCOUNT, SINCE THEY MESSED MY ORDER UP. AND THE SANDWICHES WASN'T TOASTED LIKE I ASKED AND THE BREAD WAS SOGGY. AS YOU SEE FROM THE PIC. AS A FIRST TIME CUSTOMER. MY EXPERIENCE WAS VERY HORRIFIC. Really strange place. I have a picture to prove it. Service is standard Long Island which is fine fun to come back to hear “no” to a simple request. But that’s part of the deal. No salt in any of my food. I’m not sure why and I’m not asking if there is any other kind of spices the chef is familiar with.
This diner has been around for so many years and it's still just as good if not better than it's always been. it's one of the best diners around. Food is always delicious. service is so friendly .atmosphere is so inviting. They decorate beautifully for all the holidays.
