O Ligerio - Reserva de mesa

...chargrilled chicken in the area. We live here and it is a firm favourite. It is a typical Portuguese restaurant with paper table cloths and bright lights great food and good value. House wine is sold by the jug at 4euros 1L! If you like it spicy, ask for 'Chicken Piri like Jo has ' and you won 't be disappointed. Sandra and Miguel are the owners and always welcoming. If you fancy an evening in, call and order a takeaway!

We have been going to Ligerio for several years and it has changed management several times this time it is definitely for the best they have made a real effort with the decor both inside and out and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the wine very reasonably priced. We will be back good to have Ligerio back on our list!

Saturday lunch time and enough people in to make is lively. Food is very well presented and everything was served together and hot!! Good choice of vegetables and an exceedingly good wine selection although house red and white wine were reasonable. Staff were very friendly and good fun with our English especially there miming of carrot cake

This restaurant was almost empty when we were there. The fish was super fresh and the mixed grilled fish was wonderful. The menu had many choices and if you are not a fish eater there are lots of choices for you. Prices were good and the quality of everything we tried as very good. We would eat here again. First visit. Great friendly staff. Food excellent. The sea bass for 2 was beautifully cooked. Also recommend Tuna steak. Fresh fish counter to choose from. Plenty of space in restaurant in and out. Popular with families.

Had an excellent lunch here! A delicious and varied pratos do dia menu! Everything looked lovely and our chick pea casserole thing was absolutely gorgeous! Not surprised that it was quite busy!

Honest, simple, quality food. Great service. Not the most beautiful setting but worthwhile. Truck drivers, locals, tourist….nice place
