the restaurant has changed its name, it's now called the snow star. We booked for 9:00 in this restaurant. arrived at 8:50 pm we were installed by a friendly waitress who took our order. still not being served at 9:30 we asked the server if there was still a lot of waiting. he told us that the cook was alone, overflowed and that he couldn't give us an estimate of wait time.10 minutes later another waitress (the boss)? came to us to tell us that our order was lost and that our order was going to be processed by the overflowed cook...but she didn't know when he could handle it....so we left.So no opinion on the kitchen of this restaurant!
Not a lot to say about this place. Ended up here as they seemed just about the only restaurant that had tables free, and judging by the welcome (or absence of it) from the maître d, he was the reason. Still, I had little to complain about the food, the kids had standard fare of chicken nuggets etc., whilst we had steak. I asked for medium, wife asked for bien cuit. Both arrived the same, i.e. ****, so just the way the chef wanted to cook them rather than how we wanted them. Price for a 3 course was reasonable though. Beer was OK, but only bottled, and not sufficiently chilled. I did not feel bad about not leaving a tip...
restaurant is much larger than looks from the street, decoration is tired,and dirty mirror, we were served by a man that looked like he had just got out of bed!!!!!!service was very long,! but the food was delicous,and good value, we had a four course meal for 22.50, which was beautifully presented!i would recomend if you are not in a hurry
