The afternoon tea itself was okay, but the sandwich fingers were a bit dry and the top tier didn't impress me. Instead of fancy cakes, we were served brownies with a Rolo on top, which I found to be more suitable for children. The cream and jam for our scones were adequate, but I felt that the price of £25 per person was too high. To make matters worse, my granddaughter was informed that there was an additional charge of £10 because it was a Sunday. I was disappointed with the overall experience and do not plan on visiting this restaurant again.
The cafe is lovely, with friendly staff, but we were disappointed with the limited menu options. During our visit with my mom and 93-year-old grandmother, who has dietary restrictions, she asked for a simple bacon sandwich but was told she needed to choose from the menu. They suggested a bagel instead, which was too much for her. When I inquired about the children's menu, we were informed it was only for children under 12. It was not about the cost, but about accommodating a 93-year-old lady who wanted to enjoy brunch with her family.
I’ve been meaning to write a review for a little while It the service last time we were there finally made me get on with it. We’ve been regular visitors to this cafe and the food and staff are amazing. I went in with my daughter for a late breakfast and we had the waffles which were divine. We also had the dirty tots which were lovely. The staff are great and make every effort to ensure everyone is well catered for. If you have a special occasion be sure to check out the pods.
Very nice food at a reasonable price and the servers are polite. It's just a shame that you have to wait so long for everything. 20 minutes waiting for a table, yet there were at least 5 tables empty. 20 minutes for drinks to arrive, 20 mins after we've finished drinks for our food to arrive. We we're told they were short staffed. That's a reason maybe, it's not an excuse. Sort of ruined the experience which is a shame.

Evidently popular destination. Food was good when we got served. Communication overall good as we had to wait a long time to get a table, over40 minutes. Would be handy to book for larger numbers as we were 9 people. Thankfully flexibility and common sense helped keep us looked after with drinks whilst we waited. Would go again if I knew I could have a timed seating.
The restaurant is in a beautiful setting with tranquil background music playing. We enjoyed sitting outside on a nice day, and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious, and we couldn't resist indulging in a sweet treat at the end of our meal. We will definitely return and would be happy to recommend it to others.
BEWARE…..told there would be a 20 minute wait, given a buzzer to alert us, after 30 minutes passed asked if a table was available, subsequently seated then told there would be another 30 minute WAIT for food, nice place NOT worth the wait, won’t be going back
Wonderful little find amazing pods so beautifully done the food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing Amy our waitress was very friendly and service excellent definitely recommend as a special treat

Tasty afternoon tea with friends. Lots of tea/coffee and a lovely savoury selection with the sandwiches. Highly recommended
