Such an authentic and genuine experience. The food is incredible! The family who owns oak chalet is the best! They treat everyone as family.They are so kind and engaging with my little boy! We love it here Dietary restrictions: My mother is in a very special diet. They make all her dishes exactly to her specifications. Parking: HUGE parking lot. We never had a problem finding parking Kid-friendliness: The staff is unbelievably kind to all children! They engage with them and it’s one of my son’s favorite places to go! Wheelchair accessibility: My parents use the handicapped entrance and it easily fits the walkers
We had a fantastic 90th birthday party for my mother today ! The atmosphere was so warm and cozy, we had plenty of room to mingle, the food is always wonderful and it certainly was today as well. I can’t say enough about this very special, family owned restaurant- it’s just such a special place .

The service was exceptionally good. The waiter was attentive, polite, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal. The Wienerschnitzel Holstein was very good. I had the rice pudding for dessert which I enjoyed. I look forward to coming back.

I am fortunate that my favorite German restaurant is located right in my own neighborhood! The Oak Chalet always delivers delicious and authentic German cuisine, as well as a great selection of beers.
The food and service at this restaurant are consistently excellent, and they offer a selection of delicious German beers. I have been a regular patron at this establishment since it first opened.
I finally visited Oak Chalet and it was amazing. I enjoyed the chicken jaegerschnitzel with potato pancakes and spaetzel. The food was delicious.
This is one of the finest restaurants on the island. The atmosphere, service, and food are all exceptional. I highly recommend it!
