I'm so so so happy that Laguna has a new sushi spot. I was sad that San Shi Go and 243 Sushi Laguna closed. Seabutter is a solid addition. The sushi is so fresh and the flavors are really delicious. We always order the Sunset roll, the Salmon Supreme, the Miss Salmon, the Crispy Albacore and the Yellowtail and Spicy Tun crispy rice. Hot house sake and Fried Green Tea ice cream with chocolate drizzle (good but would love crisper and warm tempura instead of cold) Honestly, everything is delicious! If I were to pick just one item. to get it would be The Sunset. I also love the 2 pc sushi the Yellowtail Belly is wonderful and Fatty Toro. The kids get Seabutter's version of a California Roll made...
Enough is enough. Have to write. With respect to the price point, it may be the worst sushi in Southern California. Oh, on takeout orders, these morons place sushi rolls on absorbent paper sheets so you can't pull the roll off without ruining the already poorly made sushi and they don't fully cut the rolls so grab a spoon! The Chicken Teriyaki bowl tasted like a gluey microwave dinner. All the sauces are gross. Other than that, the atmosphere is bare. Can't order at the sushi bar.
We cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! We have a celiac/gluten free and vegetarian in our group and they did not disappoint. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and also friendly and attentive! Food was so wonderful!. Followed with black sesame ice cream. So good. We had Mr crab, polar bear, green goddess so good. Plentiful and tasty. Service was just fantastic! We will definitely be back. Thank you for accommodating our gluten free diet.
Amazing fresh and beautifully plated sushi and rolls. We have finally found our favorite sushi restaurant. Our sushi chef, Peter, was very helpful in explaining a few things that were new to us. All the staff was eager to serve and answer questions. We have so many favorites and will be back often to enjoy their expertly prepared food!

I love the food at sea butter. I have my favorites and usually stick to the truffle salmon roll as well as Mr crab.
Food was amazing, servers were very good although service was a bit slow from time to time. Highly recommend.
