My friends loved it, and everyone I’ve showed my food photos to already wants to go there. The environment is cosy, warm, and beautiful. This was our first visit and we actually live about mins from here, but decided to book for Sunday Lunch as we were going to the nearby country park. I didn’t know what to expect but the first communication with them was via Facebook...when I enquired about the menus available. This was always responded with promptly and was friendly. On the day itself, we were running a little late and called to ask if they could still accommodate, they still managed to fit us in and we were very grateful. However I was blown away by the menu, the service and the food was just amazing! There was a good selection of food for us and the kids, the roast dinner was delicious and such good value and big portion...
The best Sunday Lunch that I've eaten in a very long time. I haven't eaten a Sunday Lunch at a restaurant in a very long time as it's something that the family cook often at home. The Oakley just blew my mind. I would not...normally eat braised red cabbage but the red cabbage on my plate was a perfect balance of sweet and sour, even our year old nephew enjoyed it. My beef was tender and perfectly pink and the rest of the table enjoyed a mixture of the pork belly, chicken and a vegan wellington. The food was amazing and the service exceptional. We only live down the road in Turvey, I can't believe that we didn't realise this pub had new owners. We'll be visiting again very soon.
Great restaurant with excellent food. We visited with friends who live in the village on Saturday evening table of six). The restaurant has only been established for a short time but certainly is a must go to place if you are in the area....Excellent varied menu with quality local produce. All meals were professionally presented and full of flavour. Service was exceptional with staff going that extra mile, well done! Duck was locally sourced from Pastures farm with gnocchi, lovely with a side of greens. Crispy ribs fell off the bone and the wild boar and Apple sausage delicious. Rhubarb crumble finished off the meal perfectly Look forward to our next visit

We visited as a party of five and were well looked after from the start. Great service and soon seated. We ordered steaks, risotto and fish of the day (sea bass). All were excellent and plenty of it. Plenty of ciders and bitters to choose...from. Desserts also superb. Cheese board was exceptional as were the crumbles. A nice touch was serving some of the GF cake (there’s a cake shop in the bar! Fabulous) for one of our party. Highly recommended.
We had another amazing night at the Oakley. The food was all delicious and we loved being in the private dining room which made the night feel so special. All the staff are fantastic and couldn’t have been more accommodating, especially as of our...party were an hour late, their food came so quickly and the team were so understanding despite the pub being incredibly busy! This was our first visit and we received a warm welcome in lovely surroundings. Excellent food and friendly, attentive service. Loved the little touches like water on the table without having to ask and cloth napkins. Highly recommended, just wish we lived closer so we...could go more often!
Absolutely fabulous Sunday Lunch food was stunning and service was spot on! Everyone is so welcoming and everything is friendly but so professional too. We can’t wait to go back. This place is an absolute gem!

Fabulous full Oakley breakfast, good strong coffee, warm plates, lovely staff, beautiful relaxing cosy building couldn't fault anything we're very fussy highly recommend.
Family meal at the weekend and loved the food. Service is friendly attentive. Local produce of the highest quality throughout the menu.
