Amazing dining experience! I ordered oxtail with rice, beans, greens, a small jerk chicken, and a Pepsi for $32. The star of the meal was definitely the oxtail. It was cooked to perfection, with the meat falling off the bone and a delightful gelatinous texture. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of spice for my taste. Next time, I’ll definitely try the curry goat and chicken stew!
OBs moved across the street into a nicer and newer building since I had last been there. Food is as good as it always was. Best jerk chicken I’ve had off of the island of Jamaica. It’s better than I remembered. The spicy is the right amount of heat and the seasonings are perfect. Beans and rice and cabbage sides are cooked perfect. I’m gonna drive 40 minutes to go get some more next week.
The store is in Chester PA and I live in Philadelphia PA sadly enough when I arrived there were no more of what I wanted to order left. We chose another meal and we were satisfied, just sorry there were no more Wings left. We were referred by a friend so we were really looking forward to trying their wings, maybe next time.
I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The service was quick and friendly, and the interior was very clean. The portion sizes were generous as well. This place was a total surprise. Service was fast and friendly….very very clean inside. The portions were very good as well. If you try it and have no idea what to order…..not a problem….because the customers will be more than happy to explain to you what’s what and help you pick.
