Ocean Blue Fish

I have reviewed this place before but thought everybody deserves a second chance right? We all have bad days and the kids desperately wanted fish and chips……should of ignored them! My warning sign should of been the couple who ordered food off the vegetarian menu that actually wasn’t vegetarian! The lady pushed the point several times whilst ordering repeatedly asking this is definitely vegetarian to which the young man taking the order acknowledged. It wasn’t until the young lady not even serving them informed that everything including fish was fried together in fact not veggie!!!!! They left and we should of followed! That was my warning sign, but no stupid me ordered and who did I get yes the same young man who screwed up the veggie ladies order. Didnt understand what I wanted and got the order wrong three times, when we did get the food it was saturated in oil, obviously is a chippy there’s going to be plenty of oil but to the point that it’s gathering in the corner of the serving box! Asked for mushy peas got beans, the chips were limp and tasteless the fish tasted like cardboard what there was if it , didn’t understand the difference between a can of coke and a bottle, overcharged by my calculations by £2.20 not that it’s the end of the world just a principle thing . Bottom line bulletin points Did provide food asked for and didn’t see until we’d left Overcharged Completely oblivious staff and most of all terrible tasting food. Fool me once your fault, fool me twice my fault. Double black list. Will never never use again no matter how much the kids protest. Next time it’s dominoes.

Regularly been ordering food from Ocean Blue. That was my second visit lately and I have to admit that second time I'm really really disappointed with customer service of staff. Back in April you been great with smile hello and nice atmosphere, but since June every time I'm ordering via app or just walk in staff doesn't even bother to say hello, looking at you like you just destroyed their evening fun of dancing/singing/and scrolling socials. So with theatre play behaviour pulling together your order. Feeling awaiting for your food is really really disappointing, staff is not interested at all after you placed an order or said that you've got collection. Customer service just say basic smile, eye contact and nice atmosphere need to be set between the bigger importance of being around your work folks rather gaining more customers by adequate service. And food as always filling up it tastes good

Went into the shop was given a ticket after ordering waited 30 minutes was then told waiting on chips only to discover at home that I had to reheat the whole order in my microwave everything was cold the reason it was is because they serve the just eat orders all the fresh products whilst loyal customers have to are served the cold food this is **** atrocious and bad service to customers who takes the time to go and collect the food themselves i gave 1 star as I have to give a star at least if I had my own way they wouldn’t get any star word of advice to the owners start showing the customers who come into the shop better respect and hot food not cold dissatisfied customers

First delivery was not bad apart from soggy batter on fish. 2nd delivery arrived an hour early!! Absolutely ridiculous as my family were not home. My last visit to the shop two female assistants chatting. Took my large order not complicated. Told to wait outside until it was ready due to covid rules. So i didn't see them doing my order. Gets home and so looking forward to my fish n chips except no fish. I emailed them to complain and not even a reply. I shall be passing this on to all my family and friends. You just lost yourself alot of customers. DO NOT USE THESE CLOWNS..

I ordered large chips with haddock and curry sauce. I’m sorry but absolutely awful … chips look like they was cooked yesterday also tasted like… Fish wasn’t as bad but really not worth the cost… also skin still on and way to cooked. All in all I am very disappointed and will not be coming back again
