It is time to return the church to the center of the village! In appearance, this restaurant can attract by its location and its very good notes on Google. The reality is quite different. Let's start with an entrance, a salmon terrine, widely overcooked and tasteless. We then go with a bar net accompanied by rice. First time I see rice so fade in a restaurant. The bar net was frozen, it’s a top for a restaurant by the sea. I'll pass the cooking details. I’m laughing it’s obviously too cooked like everything we ate this day (the terrine, the cake and the fish) Small special mention for the frozen chip plate billed, five euros extra. In short, you don't get to eat much better in the restaurant...
Oceana is in a line of restaurants above the beach and on a hot summers day with crowds on the beach we were happy to see lots of smiling customers. Wanted sardines and got them- thought it was a starter but it was main course size with sautés and salad so didn’t really need the salad landsise(gesiers) but it was lovely. Daughter Catherine and fiona enjoyed their galettes and Stanley liked his menu enfant moules. Choc I’ve cream with kids menu great. Nice service from tall waiter and we were on the lovely beach in good time.
A restaurant by the sea, ideal at night at sunset with a meal that is qualitative for a very reasonable price. The service is very good with pleasant staff. I recommend as a restaurant on st gilles cross life. Just wait a bit in advance to find a parking space in the middle of the season!
