Oceanos - Reserva de mesa

Oceanos is a rarity these days. A true fine dining experience in the suburbs. The owners have created a beautiful large outdoor dining space replete with chandeliers, plants, and tables with linens. Service is knowledgeable and attentive. Oceanos has a reputation for buying only the best seafood. The lunch specials, Halibut and soft shell crabs, were an excellent value at each and nicely prepared. The grilled octopus appetizer is sublime. Even the olive oil served at the table is special. Certainly a restaurant for a special occasion and worth going to

Oceanos is known for fish, but the non-fish eating member of our party, always enjoys the fillet here. We started with oysters and two of us enjoyed fish specials. One was soft shell crabs which we enjoyed prepared scampi style, but could have been done other ways. The other fish entree was the halibut which was served over mashed potatoes and spinach. The sauce was on the side as requested. All the fish was fresh and perfectly prepared. They have plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here

Tuna tartar was ok-ish. Greek salad was not bad but not good. Too much oil, not enough spices. Sea bass was stale. Grilled salmon was under cooked. The grill must have been too cold because there was no searing. Both fish Looked and tasted like they microwaved. (I’m not saying they were, this is just by way of explaining). Drinks were ok. On a different note, the parking lot is very crowded and on weekends it’s valet- only. Not interested in a valet entering my car so parked on the street

I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my husband had the halibut special and both were very good. We split the beet salad as appetizer and that was tasty as well. Our pre-dinner cocktail packed a little bit of a punch, so it was a very relaxing evening! Not an inexpensive meal, but a nice dining experience Reserva una mesa ahora

Scallops and Mediterranean red snapper excellently done. Very fresh and seasoned wonderfully. The chandeliered tent is very attractive and feels upscale

Food and service was excellent but it feels very over priced. But then again everything seems overly expensive since covid

Always a wonderful dining experience. Our waitress was especially great last night (and service is always sterling)

Expensive, horrible bland food.. Everything was pre-made just heated. Poor quality food. Very disappointed Reserva una mesa ahora

T bone outstanding, see bass was OK. I will come back because I want to try more
