Odette's Restaurant And Bar

We always try and get out to two/three restaurants when we come down to London to visit our niece. Odette's is a particular favourite of ours, and we usually try and visit a couple of times a year. This visit it was my wife's birthday and we had the tasting menu (perfectly adjusted to suit one of us being pescatarian) with the wine pairing. Each course was delicious, really well balanced with great flavours and perfectly matched by the wines from the sommelier. My son booked Odette’s for Saturday evening dinner. Food I cannot fault. It was flavoursome, well presented and each of us enjoyed our choices. However, I have to agree with several other reviewers who comment on staff attitude towards some diners. Snooty! Best describes the welcome we received. The table next to our was fussed over, cleaned of crumbs, little witticisms shared and constant checking in. We were basically ignored until food was ready to serve. At the end of the evening I tip for service received and to add 13.5% to a bill which was already over £300 for 4 people who have had 2 courses and a shared pudding, 1 bottle of average white wine and some sparkling water, where service...

Lovely atmosphere relaxed but efficient staff and unhurried service. Valentino looked after us well. Went for the Santes Dwynwen (the Welsh Valentine) menu. Really good food all courses. Highly recommend. To finish Bryn emerged from the kitchen. It was great to shake his hand and thank him for the meal. Diolch yn fawr i ch gyd am noswaith hyfryd. Osian a Helen

wonderful, a lovely room , great services and fab food. The lunch menu is amazing value, very generous too. I have never tasted red cabbage cooked in such a special way. And the gnocchi was divine. A perfect experience, this is how dining out should be. Reserva una mesa ahora

Beautiful restaurant with great ambience. The food is imaginative beautifully presented. It tastes out of this world. Staff were efficient. Cocktails were good too. Obviously, we'll return. Maybe trying the good value set menu next time.

We’ve returned to Odette’s, and again, it was a superb experience. My wife and I asked pork for the starter. As mains, halibut for her and lamb for me: delicious. Perfect dessert: strawberry and meringue (please see picture).

This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were polite and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and excellently presented. We will re-visit again.
