This charming little fish fry spot in East Greenbush has a fresh fish market right next door, supplying them with high-quality seafood. The fish dinners are quite good, and my personal favorite is the fish and chips dinner served with “beach fries”! Prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are generally quite generous. The staff is usually friendly and accommodating, although they can be a bit curt when the place is busy. Overall, I would give it four stars. It's a great spot to enjoy a delicious fish fry!
Off shore pier offers a lot of different foods from seafood to chicken tenders and hot soups. Their food is fantastic vs. other seafood places I've been to. Decent size meals and appetizers and the prices are even better. Their corn nuggets are amazingtoo. However they only accept cash so you either have to have cash on hand before you go or stop at the ATM at the fish marketthat's located on the other side of the building.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs. When my wife and I arrived, we should have walked out immediately. The dining room was just as hot as it was outside, and the air conditioning was broken. As for the food, it was greasy, and the fried shrimp were not properly cooked. The scallops were undercooked as well. Additionally, this place only accepts cash or checks. Do yourself a favor and keep driving!
Don't waste your time and money. As soon as my wife and I walked in, we should have walked out. It was just as hot inside the dinning room as it was outside. Obviously the Air Conditioner was not working. On to the food.....Greasy, no batter in the friedshrimp, scallops were not cooked until done. This business only accepts cash or check. The seafood platter was a bit better than average for its price. The clam chowder was fantastic—truly the epitome of comfort food. However, I really hope they address the sticky tables and food splatters on the windows! Anything to enhance the dark and dreary atmosphere would be appreciated.
I absolutely love the fresh food this restaurant offers! The staff is excellent and extremely courteous. The fish market provides a wonderful selection of nearly every type of fish you can imagine, along with a variety of other great menu items. It’s definitely a must-try!
