Had a few folks recommend Off the Hook for the freshest seafood in Bergen County and today we stopped by. It's a little off the beaten path and we kind of blindsided them showing up (they're mostly a wholesale operation), but I told him I was looking for scallops and fresh oysters and he had options! They were extremely accommodating and super nice. We got a pound of dry scallops and a dozen Tucker's Island oysters (Barnegat Bay South Jersey) and a dozen Wellfleets for a fantastic price. The food was outstanding. I tried the Blackened Grouper sandwich, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. My wife ordered the Chicken Bruschetta sandwich, and it was also cooked to perfection. Our waitress was extremely attentive, checking on us several times throughout our meal. Unfortunately, the weather was a bit chilly the day we visited, so we had to dine indoors. The patio seems like it would be a lovely spot to enjoy a meal on a warmer day.
Today, I witnessed drivers tossing trash out of their windows on Cherry Hill Rd in Parsippany. This behavior is not only disrespectful to our community but also deters potential customers for local businesses. Additionally, it's illegal in New Jersey. Please show some respect.
This restaurant offers the freshest seafood I’ve ever experienced! I usually order from here weekly, so saying I’m satisfied is an understatement! John is always incredibly accommodating, which I really appreciate.

Super Dooper Expensive. The fish I bought I would have to charge $80.00 at a restaurant per portion to make a profit. Scale is also not honest.
The food is always good, prices are fair, and its one of the few places at the NJ shore that you can see the ocean while you eat.
